Cash on Carlyle respects the privacy of our customers and complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (the “Act”)
The Privacy Statement explains how the Cash on Carlyle collects, uses, discloses and protects your Personal Information.
Personal Information is defined in the Act as ‘information about an identifiable individual’.
For the purpose of the Act, the “Data Controller” in respect of your Personal information is Cash on Carlyle.
By using the Cash on Carlyle website or face to face application process you authorise Cash on Carlyle to collect, use, and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Statement and to the extent not prohibited by the Act. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that any Personal Information is not used for purposes other than that for which it has been collected.

- Collecting amounts you owe us, including taking enforcement action

- Exercising our rights and fulfilling our obligations under any agreement with you
- Exercising our rights and fulfilling our obligations of complying with all applicable laws, including those relating to the privacy Act, money laundering, terrorist finance, bribery, corruption, tax evasion, fraud and similar, and managing all economic and trade sanctions risks
- Using the information for other purposes that you authorise at any time

- Identity verification agencies
- Credit reporting agencies - credit reporting agencies may retain information (including default information) and use it to provide their credit reporting services
- Government departments, government bodies or agencies in New Zealand or overseas (only if they meet New Zealand’s privacy requirements)
- The Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency’s Driver Check service
- Any organisation or person providing us with a guarantee or security under any agreement with you
- Any organisation or person to whom we consider assigning or transferring any of our rights under any agreement with you
- Any organisation or person you authorise your personal information to be disclosed to or obtained from
- Service providers – this may include information being held on our behalf by data storage providers including cloud based data storage providers in New Zealand or overseas.
Who we will not share your information with
- We will not sell/rent contact information lists to parties who are not part of our Company
- We will not (to the extent we can reasonably control) use any Personal Information for purposes other than that for which it has been collected.

By browsing and reading information on our Website, Cash on Carlyle may gather information about your visit automatically.
Our system tracks traffic to our Website. This is not personally identifiable to you. This is done to help determine the value and quality of our Website’s content. It also allows us to monitor traffic for the purposes of software and hardware integrity and maintenance.

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access and request correction of Personal Information we hold about you. You may also request full details of every organisation to whom we have disclosed Personal Information about you where the information can be readily retrieved. This information must be provided within 20 working days.
