We offer loans from $300 - $20,000, over a term of 1 to 5 years or by arrangement outside these terms.

We only offer secured loans.

You must have a reasonable credit history.

You must be able to make the payments on your loan.

You must live in New Zealand and be a NZ Resident or NZ Citizen.

Depending on the amount of the loan we require security of either:-

Household Chattels (excluding “essential” goods eg beds, cooking equipment, medical equipment, portable heaters, washing machines and refrigerators)

Motor Vehicles that are registered, warranted and insured

Residential Property whereby we take a second mortgage or caveat over

Security must be sufficient to cover the value of the loan.

If you do not have quite enough security to secure the amount you wish to borrow you may have a close friend or relative who is prepared to be your co-borrower or guarantor and offer something for security. Any Guarantor or co-borrower will be required to complete a full application also and be required to provide the information as above. We will need to ensure they completely understand any implications to them if you do not pay the loan repayments.

Our interest rates are fixed for the term of the loan.

Our interest rates range between 23% and 29%

The interest rate is based on the profile of the borrower(s) and the collateral offered for the loan. A guide is listed below.

Household Chattels 27% pa – 29% pa

Motor Vehicles 25% pa – 27% pa

Property 23% pa – 25% pa

Payment Waiver Protection is not compulsory but is strongly recommended to cover death, disability (Illness and Accident) or redundancy. We are happy to discuss your options of different level of cover eg Death only and provide you with a loan quotation with and without protection for you to make an informed decision. A copy of the Payment Waiver Agreement is available on request.

Our loans are flexible - you can choose to make your repayments over a term of 1 to 5 years to suit your budget. Payments are made on a weekly basis. You can over the counter at our office, set up payment on your banking app, by automatic payments or at your local BNZ.

Provided you’re over 18 years and have regular income you can apply for finance. In order to be able to process your application we will require the following:-

- Proof of identity

Under anti money laundering laws we need to see an official photographic ID eg passport, drivers licence or 18+ card. We may also need to see your birth certificate or other government issued documents (eg SuperGold card), or a bank issued document (card or statement). These must show your name.

- Proof of address

We need a letter or statement posted to your home address from a reliable company, eg power bill, Sky, a government department (WINZ, IRD, NZ Police etc) or a bank statement.

- Proof of income

As a responsible lender we work with you to understand your household budget. To do this we need your pay-slips with 90 days bank statements, (GST returns and financial statements if self employed or if a beneficiary a breakdown of payment from Work and Income including any deductions), and full details of all your regular payments to other lenders or service providers.

A Borrower can make a Hardship Application where, due to unforeseen hardship, the borrower is facing difficulties meeting their loan obligations. A borrower may make hardship applications when they are in default of no more than 2 months, and they have not missed four consecutive payments. Borrowers can make a hardship application up to two weeks after receiving a prepossession notice.

If you repay your loan in full before the final scheduled payment due you MAY incur the following fees:-

Settlement (Full PrePayment)

If you pay the unpaid balance in full before the final payment is due (full prepayment), we do not charge you a fee for our loss on full prepayment. You must only pay our administrative costs relating to the full prepayment.

Administrative Cost/fees $30.00 for our staff’s work associated in receiving the request for and processing the full prepayment and in discharging or releasing any security. This may change if you ask for a full prepayment figure more than once.

- A fixed fee to cover administrative costs/fees of settling the loan $ 30.00

- Reimbursement (without addition) for any actual disbursements for security release fees COST
